Social Studies
To be honest, I just love this subject and of working with you Mr. Vendramin because I've learned a lot about other countries' history as well as Canada. I like the way you are helping us if something is wrong and we don't know. At first, It's hard for me to do all the assignments especially if I'm not done with the first assignment, but after how many months, I enjoyed working because I like using iPads for my projects or home works. What I like about this class is our presentations even though we don't want to do it in front of class, but we did it well. I also want all the presentation because I've learned a lot about Indians, Mayans, Greeks, Cree,Egyptians, etc. I remember when we geocache outside and it's awesome because it feels like its an adventure for me. I also like the European map even though its hard to memories it all because I'm not familiar all of the European countries but then, we did it in class, so I just love it. I will also miss this social class. All of the activities, assignments and projects we made, it made me realize that learning social studies is important in our lives, so thank you Mr. Vendramin for teaching us Social Studies and how to use other application in the iPads.

Rome RAFTs
I really enjoyed our game show that we did in our presentation. I've learned a lot of things about Romans life like about Roman food, Roman mythology, information, soldiers and government of Rome. The fruits that was common for them are grapes. Prima Mensa was their mainly dish. Our planets names were come from them. You can join the military army if you're 20 years old and shouldn't be marry. Their government is a republic. Julius Caesar was killed in the theater of Pompey. They also have Colosseum and watch gladiatorial fights. I like Tyra's group presentation because its interesting to know about what our planets rules for the Roman. Each planet is known as god, like Jupiter is the god of kings, Mars is for war, Venus is for love and Pluto is for death. I realized that learning Ancient Rome is important because they influenced people around the world.

Roman PMI
Plus
-Military strength is the most obvious similarity.
-Romans had the best training, biggest budget, and finest equipment that the world have ever seen in their time.
- Romans were known for their infrastructure, including their Roads (or Via) as well as their engineering feats with bridges and aqua ducts, built primarily to enable their military to move more quickly.
-China is a socialist and communist country that is slowly turning its back on its soul and embracing it nemesis, capitalism.
-. Romans embraced their status as masters of the known world; however, few Americans would claim bragging rights on their own imperialism.
Minus
-United States has deployed any ruling consuls in any sovereign lands.
-The rest of the world undoubtedly knew their strength and consequently feared the Romans as well.
-Romans had to excel at both the art of winning wars as well as the winning the cultural battle often times found in political circles, considering that the Roman empire spanned continents as well as vast cultural divides. Rome’s greatest conquest was the seduction of its’ peoples.
-The United States with the Iraq war has learned that the “American” way does not always work.
- The fall of the Roman Empire occurred primarily due to a lack of foresight as well.
Interesting
-Rome was the Superpower of its time, as United States is the Superpower now.
-The Internet began as a military tool, and arguably is one of the most superior inventions of our time, bringing whole nations together in mere nanoseconds.
- United States offers Starbucks, my personal favorite, Wal-Mart for 24/7 shopping convenience, and Disneyland for entertainment, just to name a few.
-The Roman and American models of government and capitalism are based on the principles of progress through utilization of it’s work force with the lure of the good life as an individual’s goal
- Those highways find their counterpart in the Internet, or better known as the information Superhighway.

Blog #7 (Evaluation-Mark)
Evaluation is evaluating yourself and others. It's all about what you did in your project or presentation. It's how much you put an effort into your work. Evaluation is a contribution in every work, project or presentation that you did with your group or individually. Evaluating is also being honest with yourself and it's your grade in yourself or with your group. What mark means to me is an average or grade. If you're hard working, it's kind a gift for you if you have high marks or grades. All your work totals your marks. It shows how you did your part or work.Learning helps me to be better for what I'm doing. We learn in order to make better lives for ourselves.

First Nation Presentation (blog # 6)
I enjoyed listening to Athena's dad, which is Mr. Benjoe because I like the way he drew a first nation in the board. I learned things about where he came from and words in his language. I also enjoyed the activity that he gave to us because it helps us to cooperate and communicate to others by asking them and fill out our papers and to know my classmates better too. I really like his painting because his a good artist and I was amazed when I saw his painting because it's really awesome and colourful.
Presentation (blog # 5)
I think our presentation did well even though at first, I wasn't in timing in reading my part. Presenting is not that easy because we were talking in front of class and it's hard to do it, but I learned that we need to have confidence and be comfortable in presenting in class. We also need to have an energy in presenting, so the audience will enjoy and not be bored. I also learned that we need to have an eye contact on our audience and make our voice louder and clear, so the audience can hear us. I think Lana and Johnna had the best presentation because they use their creativity to do their prezi. I learned a lot of things about their civilization which is Mayans because they included interesting things like the games of mayans and their cultural dances. I enjoyed learning Ancient Mayans because I like the way they presented it.

Essay Writing
During our essay, I've learned a lot of things that I haven't know before. Our civilization is Ancient India and I've learned about the social sciences especially, its economics. India was the worlds twelfth-largest economy and third largest in Asia behind Japan and China, and that's very interesting to know. Buddha was also came from India and the Taj Mahal (seven wonders of the world). I've heard it before, but I don't know where it is. It's also great to know that India is a unique and most favourable tourist destination because of its wonderful places to visit and its own culture. I like using google doc because its great and we can share it to you, Mr. V. I can also change the font colour of it and paste pictures that makes our google doc or essays more colourful and presentable. While I'm doing my essay or part, I read it all over again at the start of it to make sure that my sentences flows and nice to read it.
